Will the MVP be Leaving Milwaukee?

The Milwaukee Bucks have officially been eliminated by the Miami Heat in the second round of the NBA playoffs. Jimmy Butler and his squad took down the Bucks in 5 games, although Giannis was hurt games 4 and 5. This wasn't the biggest shock, but it could have massive effects on the NBA offseason. Giannis is a free agent and could be heading out of Wisconsin. Everything he says points to him staying a Buck, but crazier things have happened in the NBA.

Golden State has been a long anticipated landing spot for the Greek Freak because of his great relationship with Steph Curry. The Lakers are always rumored to be a free agent destination, especially with Lebron still playing at the high level he is at in Year 17.

Regardless of all the temptation, I believe that he will stay in Milwaukee and try to bring a championship to the state of Wisconsin. It is going to take some roster reconstruction and probably a different head coach that will play him more than 30 minutes per game, but it could happen.

As for the Miami Heat, they look like they could take down anyone in these playoffs. There were whispers that they were a title contender as a 5-seed out of the East, but now those whispers are screams. Their team is constructed perfectly with a mix of playmakers, shooters, veterans, rookies, and defensive stoppers. Erik Spoelstra is out to prove that he can win without a super team.

Boston and Toronto are locked into a great series, with Game 6 being played tonight with the Celtics up 3-2 in the series. Boston's stars, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, have been carrying the load for them offensively, with help from Kemba Walker here and there. Toronto struggled early in the series but Nick Nurse has made adjustments and seen results. Hopefully we get to see another exciting Game 6 and 7.

The West has been as competitive as we all assumed it would be. The stars are all performing at an extremely high level for their teams. Lebron, Anthony Davis, James Harden, Kawhi, Paul George, Jamal Murray, and Nikola Jokic. The Lakers defense and size seems to be too much for the Rockets, but we'll see Houston makes adjustments for Game 4.

The Clippers and Nuggets series is one that is hard to understand. It seems that as Kawhi Leonard goes the Clippers go. He scored 12 points and they lost, but if he scores 30 they win. Jamal Murray has had a tough time getting going with all the elite wing defenders that LA has on their roster. Jokic needs to be the superstar that he is during the regular season.
